Does my primary and secondary district need an Adobe Creative Cloud licence to use Adobe Express in the classroom?
There are two ways you can access Adobe Express:
- Through a free Adobe Express for Primary and Secondary Education licence that gives you access to Adobe Express Premium at no cost
- Through a paid Creative Cloud for Education licence that includes Photoshop, Illustrator and the rest of the Creative Cloud set of tools.
With classroom accounts, individual primary and secondary educators in the US with Google Workspace for Education can create their own Adobe Express for Primary and Secondary Education accounts and invite students. With district accounts, IT administrators can create and deploy Adobe Express accounts to all students district-wide, using either free Adobe Express for Education or paid Adobe Creative Cloud for Education licences.
Where do I go to learn how to use Adobe Express?
The Adobe Education Exchange has self-paced courses to teach you how to use Adobe Express with your students. There are courses about how to use Adobe Express for writing activities, graphic organisers, digital portfolios and more. What do I need to do to receive Adobe Express for Nonprofits?
- After you click here, you will be taken to our external partner, TechSoup, for review and onboarding.
- Once you are registered with TechSoup, their team will verify your status as a qualified nonprofit, which will allow you to select Adobe Express for Nonprofits. Qualified nonprofits need to be recognised as a charitable organisation or a nonprofit organisation by the local regulator in the country where you are registered. Products are available only to qualifying nonprofits.

Can I access my projects from more than one platform?
Your projects will sync between the Adobe Express mobile and web apps so you can start a project from one device and then keep creating on the other. Some features may be limited on mobile. Your web-based project will still be editable on mobile, even if a feature isn’t yet enabled there. Projects do not yet sync to Adobe Photoshop Express and Premiere Rush.
