June, 2024 (V 5.0)
What’s new
Native in-app signing: Android mobile users can now use the native Android signing experience rather than the previous Web-based signing experience that was launched from within the app.
Sign offline: Adobe Acrobat Sign requires an internet connection for most operations, including signing. However, the app downloads the agreements (received within last 30 days) whenever there is an internet connection at the time of the application launch. You need to manually download the older documents.
If a download icon () appears next to a document in a document list, it is online and must be downloaded prior to signing.
If the document is already on your device, you can work with it and sign it without an internet connection. The document remains in your outbox until your device connects to the internet.
Once your device connects to the internet, all documents signed offline are synchronized to Acrobat Sign Mobile and Web.
New Data Safety badge: Acrobat Sign mobile application has now achieved the Independent Security Review badge in the Google Play store. This new Data Safety badge indicates that an independent authorized lab assessed the application and verified that it meets the highest mobile security and privacy requirements. This comprehensive Mobile Application Security Assessment (MASA) established by the App Defense Alliance (ADA) is based on industry mobile application security standards. These features are available on Android versions 10 and above.
