AI Assistant can also help you get more out of meetings by quickly generating meeting summaries from transcripts — saving you time by identifying key points, topics, and action items.

With generative summary, customers can get an easy-to-read outline with headings and section-specific key points to help them focus on what matters in a streamlined way. Users can easily find, discern, and navigate to essential information they need on demand.

Acrobat Individual customers can access these features in Reader desktop and the Adobe Acrobat desktop application on both Windows and macOS, on the Acrobat web application, on Acrobat mobile applications (iOS and Android), and in their Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge extensions. Yes, a separate add-on plan for full access is available to new and existing Acrobat customers. Acrobat customers do not need to have an existing Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard plan to purchase. See the

AI Assistant will be available in countries where Acrobat is currently available. Adobe products and services, including ones with AI Assistant for Acrobat, are not available in Belarus, China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, the Crimea Region of Ukraine, and the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic and Donetsk People’s Republic located in Ukraine.
Currently, AI Assistant in Acrobat supports PDFs and documents in English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese with plans to add additional languages in future releases. AI Assistant may inadvertently provide responses in languages other than English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese, but these go beyond the intended purpose of the AI Assistant capability and should not be relied upon at this time.
At this time, this feature works for PDFs and documents that meet certain criteria. It doesn’t yet support the following types of files:
- Files exceeding 100MB in size per document and up to 10 documents
- Files that contain more than 600 pages
- Files with permissions that are configured in a way that prevents processing, such as being password-protected or having the “do not copy” permission enabled
- Files that are scanned PDF documents
- Files in English, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese languages only; other languages to follow
For Acrobat Individual subscribers, we encourage customers to provide feedback directly in the product. They can select the thumbs-up icon or thumbs-down icon to express their approval or disapproval, respectively, with the generated responses. To provide more detailed feedback, customers should select “Thanks! Tell us more" or choose from the provided options to add a note and then select “Submit.” Customers also can choose to share their document and its associated data associated with Adobe while providing more detailed feedback.
In the case of inappropriate content being generated, customers should press the flag icon to report it. Their document and the associated data will be escalated to the Adobe Trust & Safety team and other internal channels to investigate and address.
The new AI Assistant features went through a review process established by the Adobe AI Ethics Review Board and have been designed to reflect Adobe’s AI Ethics principles of accountability, responsibility, and transparency.
Adobe and its service providers do not use Adobe customer content to train the large language models that deliver Acrobat’s generative AI capabilities. Learn more about how

When using generative AI features in Acrobat, customers agree to only upload documents they have a legal right to use, and they will not create, upload, or share infringing content or content that violates our
User Guidelines or the rights of others. They should seek independent legal counsel if they are unsure whether their content violates somebody else’s rights.
