Policy goal

The goal of this policy is to not allow the bulk dissemination of unsolicited or deceptive commercial content.

What is in violation 

It is a violation of Adobe’s Terms of Use to use our apps or services to post or distribute spam. Spam activities tend to be aggressive, misleading, automated, or bulk activities that aim to manipulate and drive recipients to other unrelated accounts, products, services, or initiatives.

Policy definitions

Spam

The bulk dissemination of unsolicited commercial content and/or activity with the intent to increase viewership.  

Not permitted: 

  • Posting/sharing/sending large amounts of repetitive, unwanted messages or comments (volume and frequency)

  • Artificial inflation of own rankings (for example, using bots, scripting, selling “likes”)

  • Encouraging or claiming that users are required to engage with content (such as liking, sharing, commenting) before they are able to view or interact with promised content

  • Bulk creation of accounts

  • Content/profiles promoting escort services

  • Driving traffic or attention from an Adobe account elsewhere (for example, to accounts, products, services, or initiatives on other platforms or websites)

  • Attempting to or engaging in selling or buying views, likes, followers, shares, or comments

  • Operating multiple Adobe accounts under false or fraudulent pretenses to distribute commercial spam
