Getting the Web server
Because JRun is an application server that works in tandem with a Web server, a Web server such as Microsoft Personal Web Server (PWS) or Internet Information Server (IIS) must be installed on your Windows computer. For instructions on installing PWS, see "Installing Microsoft Personal Web Server" in UltraDev help (Help > Using UltraDev), or on page 243 of the Using Dreamweaver UltraDev manual.
Note: JRun doesn't work properly with PWS running on a Windows NT machine.
A quick way to check whether or not PWS or IIS is already installed on your system is to look at your folder structure. Does it contain a c:\Inetpub or d:\Inetpub folder? PWS and IIS create this folder when they are installed.
