Creative Cloud libraries allow you to centrally organize, share and access design assets across a range of Creative Cloud applications. In the latest release of Adobe XD, we've improved our CC library integration so that you can access native XD colors, character styles, graphics and components in applications like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Here within the XD application, I've been able to access the Creative Cloud library by selecting it from the file menu or hitting a keyboard command. I now have a third way, which is here in the assets panel there's now A Creative Cloud Library icon. Once I click that I can close out the assets panel and rely on that library. I'm free to come in and create a new library so I'll start there. And, I'll assign the name. With that created I can select objects on the design canvas and add them into the library. I'll start with a few colors. Notice, I can select the fill color or the graphic. I can also add type faces. So if I come in and select a style that I have on the design canvas, hitting that + sign allows me to select its character style. And lastly, I have the ability to add complete XD components. So if I come into the component area here, select one of those components, when I come to the lower left corner and hit that + sign notice that it's recognizing that it's an XD component and allowing me to add it. I'll do that just a few more times.
Now, that I have those all added to this library, I can go ahead and switch over to other applications like illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and start to use these assets in my production workflow. This makes it much easier for me to ensure consistency across my digital and print experiences by using that same set of assets.

Thanks to a close integration with Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe XD works well with Creative Cloud Libraries, meaning assets can easily be shared across Creative Cloud applications like Photoshop and Illustrator. Easily import images edited in Photoshop and vector objects created in Illustrator right into Adobe XD projects. Components and graphics created in Adobe XD can also be added to a shared library. If assets are shared across teams from branding and marketing to product and UX, Creative Cloud Libraries are a great way to share these assets, and give access to the whole team.
