Components make the task of building out repeated design elements infinitely more streamlined and powerful. In this tutorial I'll get you started building and customising components in Adobe XD in five easy steps. I'll be leveraging some of the skills from the Getting Started XD QuickStart tutorial. If you haven't watched that already you might want to do so, although it's not required.
If you want to follow along with me during this video tutorial you'll want to make sure you have the XD component demo file open. You can find a link to that in the description area below this video. Here towards the top we have a number of shortcuts you can use to navigate through the application. You're welcome to review them or just follow along with me as I point them out during the tutorial.
With those housekeeping items out of the way let's go ahead and get started. We'll begin with the process of creating a component and reuse it in a design.
