Flash Lite architecture

The architecture of the Adobe® Flash® Lite™ 3 runtime consists of several key components that allow Flash applications and content to interact with the host environment.

The core component of Flash Lite 3 is the rendering engine, which composites visual elements for display on the screen. This is supplemented by the ActionScript™ component, which processes events such as key presses, enabling dynamic interactivity in the application.

There can also be specialized components for processing and displaying specific data types, such as certain image or video formats, or device data such as network signal or battery level. The final class of components interacts directly with the processing capabilities of the device itself in order to optimize overall performance.
