[Kelsey Slay] Illustrator is my favorite and as a graphic designer myself, I can hardly contain my excitement for this next Sneak. Here is Avneet Kaur with Project Remix A Lot.
[Avneet Kaur] Hello everyone! I'm super excited to present Project Remix A Lot, the new technology that simplifies your design process like never before. Let's get started. Here's a sketch that I made for the costume cocktail party, and I was trying to create a poster out of it. You know the drill, right? Selecting fonts, adjusting layouts. You're doing this all over again. It's like a slow stroll through the land of busy work. What if we could skip all that? I simply select my sketch and hit Sketch to Layout. Hold on for a while, and boom!
[Awkwafina] Oh, what just happened? [Kelsey Slay] Yes. I really want this Sneak. [Kelsey Slay] Yes! [Awkwafina] Wow!
That's good. [Kelsey Slay] Feeling all the love. [Avneet Kaur] In just no time my sketch got converted to this layout. Pretty great start, right? And the best part, it's completely editable.
Let me make some few edits here.
Hold on, I just got the word that the folks backstage are pulling up a stopwatch, so we'll simply skip to the final design that I made with some more edits. And this is how it looks. Spooky enough? But my work does not end here. I also needed it in different sizes for my Instagram post and standing banner, and that means having to redesign it for each new size. Let me just try that.
Only if it was this simple.
But no worries, Project Remix A Lot to our rescue. I have this Layout Variations feature right here and it can remix my design in different standard sizes.
Look at that.
[Awkwafina] That's cool.
[Avneet Kaur] Isn't it just spectacular? Or should I say spooktacular? Well, I really like this one, but I think my standing banner will need a little more height. Let me just quickly grab it here, and simply extend my artboard.
Now let's wait for some magic. In three, two, one. There you go.
So cool, right? And one more for those extra wide screens. Again, very easy. Getting it right here, and simply extending my artboard. And what do you think? Will it be a trick or a treat? It's a treat indeed!
My job is almost done, and I can always refine them later. So now that we have some time left, let's jump on to another project I was working on. I have this draft layout for this circus show event, and I feel like reviving an old design of mine. Let me just dig through my head. Oh, I think I've lost my original file, and this PNG is all I've got. Haven't we all been there? But fret not, watch me pull it out of the hat. I can select my Layout Style reference here and now I'm excited to see how this one shapes up. And Shazam! There it is.
I love how the old carnival vibe has seamlessly transferred into this new poster. And again, completely editable.
So let me make some few adjustments here. The masks look better up here, right? Yes, now it's good to go. Oh, I almost forgot. I also needed to design a ticket for this event. Got to make sure people can actually get in, and I'll quickly grab it here. What do you think, will it work for this ticket shape as well? [Awkwafina] Oh yes. [Avneet Kaur] Let's see for ourselves. I select both and give it a try. Fingers crossed.
And there it is.
Thank you. [Kelsey Slay] Wow guys, give it up for Avneet.
That was so... I think you guys really want that Sneak. I mean, the whole demo you were cheering. [Awkwafina] That was cool, man. [Kelsey Slay] That was killer. [Awkwafina] That was cool.
