How Generative AI Can Supercharge Your Document Workflows

[Music] [Nina Nasre] Welcome to MAX. Are you guys h0aving a good time so far? Are we feeling good? Are we overwhelmed? No. We're having a great time. All right, so well, welcome to MAX. How many of you guys-- Is it your first MAX? Show of hands. Okay. This is a mixed crowd. I like it. It's my third MAX but it's Bryan's first MAX, Chris' second MAX. So I think one of the things that we see is and what we hear all the time is that the most valuable part of MAX is really for you guys to be able to learn from each other, connect, meet your industry peers and also it's really cool to be able to be part of the broader Adobe community. It's really cool for us who work at Adobe also to be able to actually connect with you guys. So I think it's the coolest part about MAX. So what we're going to do today is have a little bit of fun. We're going to learn from each other. If you learn a little something about document workflows, then I've done my job.

But I think if you were at the keynote today, you heard a little bit about how we're really focusing on community. So in the spirit of community, we're going to do things a little bit differently. This is not going to be just a typical product presentation or demo. I wanted to really kind of blend tech with real life journeys, so I'm joined by Chris and Bryan. My name is Nina Nasre. I lead community for Adobe Acrobat. I've been at Adobe nine years and I will let these two introduce themselves. [Chris Grubisa] Hey, everyone. I'm Chris. I lead Let's Cook Editing Services. We supply video edits for brands and businesses of all sorts. [Bryan Bonilla] I'm Bryan, cofounder of Pirate Worldwide, and we all have a, "by any means" story and we want to make sure everyone gets their share.

All right, so let's go through what we're going to talk about today and what you can expect from today's session. So I'm going to do a little-- Talk a little bit about Acrobat. It's my favorite Adobe product. So we're going to talk a little bit about Acrobat, set some context with that and then we're going to talk about AI and Acrobat. I'm going to go through some example workflows. But again, what we're going to do is we're really trying to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit here. I think one of the coolest things about Acrobat is it's used by so many people. And so we want to make sure that we're celebrating small business owners, creatives, entrepreneurs, people who are just using it for their taxes, whatever the case. So you're going to get to hear from Chris and Bryan who have built their businesses from the ground up. Again, we don't want to just talk product. We want to also hear and learn from each other about how what you guys are doing. Thank you. True. So we'll segue into a more conversational panel style, podcast style session for the back half and then there's time for Q&A. Does that sound fun? All right. We're going to have a good time. By show of hands, how many of you use Acrobat? Okay, that's like everyone in the room.

I'm very excited. So this is my kind of session. So just to do a little bit of context setting, last year, we saw that over 400 billion PDFs were opened in Adobe products. And we saw that over 16 billion documents were edited in Acrobat last year. We also see that documents that are created, signed, shared and stored in Adobe's Document Cloud led to a 90% cost savings for users and a 95% reduction in environmental impact. So this just goes to show you the breadth and scale of Adobe's Document Cloud. But what we found is that almost everybody uses Acrobat, you all know it. But what we do find is that not everybody truly has a deep understanding of all of the different things you can do with it and how it can be beneficial for your business or relevant to you. So we're going to change that right now.

All right, so these days, we are all so busy. We're wearing multiple different hats. We have honestly, information overload. I have information overload. But ultimately, we really are in a position to champion businesses, entrepreneurs, everyone to simplify your document workflows and be more productive in your day to day, so you can get time back to do what really matters to you. And you're going to hear a little bit more about that too. So overall, we are trying to, again, champion small businesses, creatives, professionals, just general users. Maybe you're signing field trips slips for your kids. But ultimately, we are the all-in-one app to simplify the way you work and communicate with documents. Again, giving you time back to do what really matters to you.

All right, so a little bit more about Acrobat. You can use Acrobat anywhere, anytime and on any device, whether it's across the desktop, we have a mobile app. We also have-- You can also use Acrobat on the web and then we have integrations with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. We have so many products. We have free products. We have more premium offerings and we have over 35 tools in Acrobat. So you can do literally anything that have to do with documents in Acrobat. But our top use cases, our top things that people use it for are editing. So that could be anything from converting a PDF to deleting pages, to editing text and images. We use it for collaboration. So sending shared links and getting real time feedback via comments. So having people collaborate on a document. Fun fact, we're making Acrobat super fun. You can now use emojis in the comments in Acrobat. So you can give people a thumbs up. All right and then you can also e-sign your documents. This is another huge use case. How many of you e-sign in Acrobat? A lot of people. Okay. - Every day. - We love it. Every day. There you go.

So as part of the broader Adobe AI initiatives, this year we've introduced AI and Acrobat in two different ways. So in April, we launched Adobe Acrobat AI Assistant, which is a new AI feature deeply integrated in Acrobat. And so with AI Assistant, you can chat with your documents, it's really connected to your documents. So it's really fun because you can get a lot more out of your existing documents. I'm going to talk a little bit more about that. But ultimately, you can chat with your docs for quick answers, one-click summaries and creating impactful content, so that you can, again, get work done faster.

We also have an integration with Adobe Express, which is powered by Firefly Technology. So you can now generate and edit images directly in Acrobat. Again, eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps so that you guys can do quick edits all within one place. Now I also just want to reiterate, Adobe takes privacy super, super seriously, so I wanted to call out that we don't train any of our models on your content. So your data remains yours. Cool? All right. I'm going to talk about each of these in more detail. All right, so let's talk about PDFs. So it used to be, maybe some of you still think this way, but it used to be that you think of Acrobat as kind of the endpoint, right? You PDF your document and then you don't touch it again, right? It was a static endpoint of your docs. But now, you can actually and we've been able to do this but you can upload any kind of document into Acrobat and do all kinds of things with it, right? So I don't know about you guys. I personally don't live in PDFs all day. I'm in presentation decks and I'm sure all of you are in different types of documents whether you know it or not. But what's cool is you can upload anything from a deck to a word doc, to a transcript file, to even pasting in a web URL into Acrobat and using it that way. There's no one size fits all with documents, right? We all do different things. But what we found with AI Assistant is regardless of the type of documents that you work with, you can actually-- There's really three main ways you use it that are relevant for everybody.

So the first is you can use it to help you understand a long form doc by accelerating your time to knowledge. There's no more too long didn't read. You can click Generative Summary and you get a quick one-click summary that explains a long form document. Again, we have information overload, so you want to be able to get a quick understanding of the long form document pretty quickly and it, again, saves you time and gets you doing the things you actually want to be doing faster.

You can also use AI Assistant to help you analyze information. So you can ask it questions, brainstorm ideas and even get insights into what you're looking for within your document with sources cited so that you can verify that the information that you're getting from AI Assistant is coming and being pulled from your document. So that's one of the coolest things about it because we're so connected to an actual document, you can verify the information you're getting is correct and where it's being pulled from.

Arguably, the coolest part though is you can actually generate new content. So you can take existing documents and create new content outputs based on it. You could use it to draft emails. You can use it to create tables, newsletters. I mean the list just goes on. I think we've done social media captions. I had it helped me write my script for this session and I can tell you more about that. So you can use it to do a lot. And again, you're getting more out of your existing documents, maybe not starting totally from scratch.

Cool? All right.

So out of curiosity, how many of you have tried AI Assistant so far? Okay. Let's say, how many people was that? 25% of the room? Less. Not that many people. It's about to change after today. All right, so-- That's Okay. We're learning. We're here to learn together. So again, we launched AI Assistant this year and we have continued to iterate and enhance the product based on user feedback and testing. We're coming out with new enhancements constantly. So I'm going to go through some of those enhancements with you right now, that we're very excited about. So...

We have updated to the latest model technology. So you'll start to see that you're getting smarter answers and faster responses. Ultimately, we want to make sure that AI Assistant outputs are of high quality but also the formatting of how you're getting them is enhanced. So we've bolded things. You have more citations and different things like that. So smarter answers and faster responses. We also want to make sure that they're not having more fun in that room than we are. Okay. All right, so the next thing, which is going to blow everyone's mind, is being able to get insights across multiple documents. So you can upload up to ten separate documents. They can be any type of document and you can pull insights across the different documents. So the AI Assistant panel will remain constant but you can switch between the different documents. And again, you could use it to compare and contrast or pull different research or whatever it is. So again, uploading separate docs and then you're able to get insights across them. We're enhancing this experience too where AI Assistant is pretty soon going to be able to really understand the relationship between the separate documents. So that's coming and that's going to be a cool one.

We're able to make more sense of complex tables. We know a lot of long form documents or just any documents have tables. There's equations or there's different type kinds of tabular information. And what we can do now is that you're able to easily turn that complex data into clear takeaways and AI Assistant will actually show the work so that you know what's happening. I've had it help me project year over year trends and different things like that. So you can actually do quite a bit with tables now which is a newer thing.

- That's real dope. - Yeah. They're my hype men. Okay. So one of the other things that I think is really, really relevant for a lot of people, maybe not everyone but enhanced meeting transcripts. So I don't know about you, I'm literally in meetings all day. And now what we can do is we can upload any kind of transcript file into AI Assistant and you can use AI Assistant. It gives you a really enhanced output in terms of clear takeaways. What were the highlights? Who attended? What were the next steps? So it summarizes what you've missed in a meeting or at least recaps it but then you can take it a little bit further and you can ask it questions. "What were the main concerns in this meeting?" "What did my boss say so that, I can sound smarter when I'm talking to her?" Different things like that. Okay. Low key, one of the things that I actually do is I record myself and I use this as a way to-- I record myself when I want to do presentations and I use it to help me write my scripts because I'm not starting from scratch. So that's something that I use it for. - It's a cheat code. - I know, right? So I record myself talking and then I have my own script and then I use AI Assistant to help me finesse because I don't like starting from a blank page and I also don't want to type everything out. So that's one of the ways I use it in a different way.

We now support up to 600 pages. So when we launched AI Assistant, we only supported, I think 120 pages. Now we're up to 600 pages. This is due to popular demand. Again, because of user feedback and testing, we are literally making edits and enhancements all the time.

Finally, our mobile experience has also improved. So you can use voice commands to ask AI Assistant questions and now, it actually can read those answers back aloud to you. So it's a very hands-free, it's a very-- Conversational. - Very hands-free experience. - Yeah. Yes. It's very conversational. So some other things that are, I did not put in writing are, we've started also releasing new languages. So we last month, we launched AI Assistant in French and German. We're going to be rolling out new languages. We're Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, those are next. They're going to just keep on going. So we're very excited about that. And we're also pretty soon we have a couple huge things on the road map. Similar to our enhanced meeting transcript experience, we're also going to be creating a new experience for contracts. And I know that that's something that's really important for people because we've seen that about 11% of documents that people are using AI Assistant for our contracts. So we'll have an enhanced contract experience to help you understand some of those complicated terms a little bit more. Yes. Rubin in the back uses contracts, he told me. He's like, "Can you please explain this to me like a 15-year-old?" And it helped him learn his contracts, right? [Rubin] Yes. - Yes. All right we love it. Okay. Another thing that's coming which is very cool is we're going to be able to read scanned documents pretty soon. So you're going to be able to use AI Assistant on scanned documents. I don't know if any of you are fans of Adobe Scan. - It's the best. - Life changing. Literally. Chris is going to talk about Adobe Scan. - Bookkeeping. - I know. I know. So you'll be able to use scans. What's cool about that is you could even use multi dock, right? Get understanding of all your scans. You can create tables out of your expenses to be like, hey, what did I spend on this on your scanned receipts and things like that. So there's some cool things you can do with it. - Cool? - Yeah. Yes. AI Assistant.

Okay. So let's talk about prompts. AI is still so new and most people honestly don't know the best way to actually use these tools or how AI can help them. In some of our research, in some of our community research, we've asked, "If you haven't used AI Assistant, why not?" And a lot of people actually say, "I don't know what to do. I don't know how to use it. I don't know what it can help me with." So the reality is you get out of it what you put into it and there's really an art to creating a good prompt. Bryan actually told me that they now make classes on prompt writing, which I didn't know. So that's pretty cool. Yeah, some universities are offering now prompt classes on how to properly prompt an AI to give you the results you're looking for, the answers you're looking for. It's like such a new world. I don't know. It's a lot. But let's talk about crafting a great prompt.

Okay. So you start with the task, right? Create a 200-word product feedback summary. So instructions. What do you want it to do? Then you have to give it some context. So I wanted to describe the relevant data input, right? So "Create me a 200-word feedback summary based on recent customer reviews." So maybe you've inputted some customer reviews and you want it to create you the product feedback summary. Then we want to talk about setting expectations. So it conveys the goals. In this case, we want the summary to identify key themes, overall sentiment and any recurring issues or praises. And then finally, you also want to reset the task, right? It formats the output the way you want it to be formatted. So "Format the summary to be concise and present the information in a clear easy to understand manner suitable for a marketing team meeting", right? So you got the task. You got the context. You said that you're setting expectations and then you talk about the task again. You can also include things like word count or, sentiment or tone and that's another cool thing. I've had people play around with AI Assistants, say, "I wanted to talk like Yoda." Or "I wanted to sound Shakespearean". Or things like that. So you don't know. You could do cool things like that.

Our teams at Acrobat are also trying to make this even easier. So we have created a robust use case video library and a prompt library with hundreds of prompts. They're all online on our website. And so that hopefully will also help you spark some inspiration to get a better understanding of like, "How can I actually do this?" There's hundreds of ideas on there. It's very cool. And again, it sparks inspiration. Because honestly, sometimes I have a hard time even knowing where to begin to. So it's totally normal. This is all a very new thing for all of us. So again, we're trying to make it a little bit easier for all of us. Cool? Yes.

When you're crafting prompts, make sure you avoid things like vagueness, any kind of inappropriate content, including things like slang or jargon or informal language, any type of conflicting instructions, overcomplicating things and then also assuming that AI has prior knowledge to what you're trying to do. So these are some tips of things to not do. All right. Do we feel good about AI Assistant? You're all going to try it after this? Yes. Okay. So segueing a little bit, let's talk about another way we've brought AI into Adobe Acrobat. We now, have an integration with Adobe Express and I want to tell give you guys a little bit of context to this. So a lot of people who use Acrobat, we have like over 600 million monthly users of on Acrobat, right? Not all of those people are creatives. You're in businesses. You're doing all kinds of things. And so sometimes you need to like zhuzh up a document. And so what we did last year was we did include an integration with Adobe Express. So let's say, you have like a report or some sort of proposal. You want to add a cover page. You could click stylize this PDF, it would take you over to Express and then you could make it all beautiful in Express. But what we found is most of Acrobat users did not know how to use Express. And so they get to Express and they'll be like, "I don't know what to do." So we have brought Express in to Acrobat. Again, eliminating the need to switch between multiple apps. - So we-- - Messed up. Yes. So we've integrated with the Adobe Express SDK, so you can now generate and edit images with Firefly Technology directly in Acrobat. So when you go to the Edit panel at the top of Acrobat, you click Edit. You can click on an image or you can click image and it'll say generate image, edit image and you can use do things like "text to image", "generative fill", "remove background" and all of those kinds of cool, quick editing image capabilities directly in Acrobat. Again, this is for maybe somebody who's not used to using Photoshop or Illustrator. These are again those quick edits, quickly zhuzhing something up and making it a little bit more, I don't know, jazzy. Pretty cool, right? It's super cool. Yeah. We love it.

All right, so I'm going to go through a couple example workflows for you.

Let's say you are researching and ideating for a creative project. So you ask AI Assistant let's say you're a muralist and the city of Miami is like, "We want you to do a mural for us." Okay. So you include some research and you want to have it help you summarize Miami's art history. So you're using it for research. Maybe you've uploaded multiple different inspirational documents to get a better understanding of what's some cultural-- What's relevant culturally here. And then the city also gave you things like legal permits and guidelines and things like that. So you want to also understand "What are size restrictions?" "What are some city guidelines?" "What permits do I need?" Things like that. The other thing that I think is really beneficial here is you can use AI Assistant to actually help you brainstorm ideas. So what are five ideas for a Miami mural based on the cultural influences and city legal requirements? Again, it's really hard to start with a blank page. So using it just based on documents you're already using is going to help you just ideate and be more creative that way too. And then finally, you can use Acrobat to share your PDF. I know that when I'm sending a proposal or when I'm sending a presentation, I always PDF it before I send but you can just copy and share it. You don't need to attach a document to an email anymore because the file size might be too big and you can just send shared links, which is what I use Acrobat for the most honestly. Pretty cool? Yes. We love it.

I'm going to share one of my presentation workflows because this is another cool way to use it. So I'm in decks all day. I do presentations but anytime I'm sending a presentation, I always send it as a PDF. I'm not going to send it as like a working deck, right? So let's say you want to open your presentation in Acrobat. So you upload it into Acrobat and then, "Oops, I want to shorten this or I want to move some stuff around because I forgot to do it in my presentation and I want to make it more concise." So you can delete, reorganize pages in Acrobat. And then I realized I wanted to change my image a little bit. So I can also use and edit images directly in Acrobat by adding, in this case, a red car and it's so beautiful. And then I want to use AI Assistant to draft an email that explains maybe an executive summary or what my client or what my leadership or whoever I'm presenting to is going to be able to expect from within that. So draft me an email that summarizes the main points and what the feedback deadlines are from this presentation. And then finally, I just copy that. I create a shared link. I send it to my client. I just have it in there. And then they're able to provide their feedback in real time in Acrobat. Pretty cool. Share button. We love it. All right, so maybe you're a student and you want to use it for test prep. You want to have it you want to create a study guide. So again, oh, my god I have history exam tomorrow. I'm going to add all of my class notes and lecture notes and everything into Acrobat. I'm going to get insights across these documents to help me create a study guide for my test. You can even say things like add the answers at the bottom. So that you don't know what the answers are and you can test yourself. And then AI Stint will do that for you. You can create study guide, test questions, have it make you multiple choice questions, whatever you want it to do, all within your own notes. - I wish I had that. - I know. - We all do. - Yeah. That would have saved, a lot. And then, you're going to ace that test. All right. Finally, let's say we want we talked about contracts. Let's say we want to understand an agreement. And again, agreements are long. You don't always under not in plain language. So maybe I get an agreement and I want to better understand. Oh, is there a cancellation penalty on this? AI Assistant will tell you and then you can quickly e sign your document right there. Pretty cool. Yeah.

All right. So I've been talking a lot but I think I will hand it over to-- We'll shift gears and I'm going to hand it over to the real stars of the show. So I'm going to hand it over to Chris and Bryan. They're going to share their incredible journeys and how they've built their businesses again from the ground up. We partnered with Chris and Bryan in different ways when we launched AI Assistant. So it's come full circle that we're all here today. What's up, MAX? I'm Chris. - Can you hear it? This is Let's Cook Editing Services and welcome to our kitchen. Later. [Music] Yeah. Thank you, guys. So that was everything professionally. Let's get into my personal story. You guys want to hear a cool, unique take on this? [Man] Yes. All right, so I've been creating videos since the 4th grade. Media found me and it just is part of who I am. So I found my dad's handy cam and I stole it and I started making videos at a very young age. Yeah. That's me up top there. And it's crazy to have that footage too, by the way. It's like it just followed me. Anyways, so I had this dream of pursuing Hollywood. I grew up in Toronto, Canada.

And I just started making videos of my dad's handy cam, making just putting everything together like lights and sound and not even having Adobe all the premier editing systems. It was like filming off of the TVs and whatnot, just making it work. And I was never good in school and I found that as I entered high school, I was like, I can take media in class. It's like I'm just doing time at school. Maybe Assistant or Acrobat would have made it more fun and all that stuff-- - For sure. - For me to learn more. Definitely. So I realized that I wanted to pursue this and at that moment, I was obviously living with my parents and I was in this bedroom and I just put all of my life into it. I was so dedicated. I was invested into the systems like Photoshop and whatnot, everything Adobe. And I met Adobe in that room and my walls were my mood board looking back on it. I had posters of bands and culture and music and taglines and brands and everything that I wanted to become. And then college came and I was like, I really want to pursue this as a career now. So I applied to the most prestigious school in Canada. This is like Pixar comes out of here, film school and so I get all my ducks in order. I dot the t's and cross the i's and I don't get in.

I start resenting the process, I'm really pissed off and all that and I get down on myself. There's impostor syndrome. Everything gets thrown into the mix. I question everything. So I'm like all right. Year later passes. I'm going to focus up and get into this program. I'm dedicated. Turns out that day comes and I get that email.

And I'm second on the wait list.

Few people drop out, so I get in. And at that moment, I realized how special that moment was because that's the moment that I met my wife, my business partner, my life partner. And we went through four years of college and the moment we graduated, I was like, we should create company together. That company is still active today. It's called Chrilleks. You got Chris and Alex. Her name's Alex. We've been doing it for 16 years and we took it from Toronto, Canada to Los Angeles and that dream came true.

- Yeah. - Yeah. So yeah. So we work with amazing names. You got all of them down here. Let's go off. We got Kylie Jenner. We got Mountain Dew, Shopify. These are like Gym Shark. We got little medium sized brand like Thousand Helmets and we're just supplying videos for all of them.

But what the craziest part about this story is that inside that bedroom, that's where it started. And three weeks ago, I was visiting my family. They haven't moved. It's the same bedroom and I'm staying with them. Adobe knocks on my door, on my email and they're like, "Firefly, we need a video for it. Can you create something?" And I'm like, "Absolutely." I jump on the opportunity. I was like, I've been working with Adobe for 20 years just as a creative and doing this and all that. This is a dream. I mean, living the dream right now too, speaking at MAX. And then it hits me. I'm like, I didn't bring anything. I just brought a laptop. I didn't have any branding. You saw that video. That's my whole style. I got the white backdrop. I got the sound. I got the audio. I got the lights and all this fun stuff. I didn't have any of that because I was at my parents in the same bedroom. And it turns out that I went back to point zero and I grabbed all the stuff, what I could and made it together. And that video today sits at 18.4 million views.

That's dope.

Thank you, guys. - We have one more slide. - All right. All right. And so this is my why. This is my family. Got Alex there as a Barbie doll. I got my daughter here, Ellie. Sunny, the dog up there wearing a little hat from, Firefly and then my little Travis down there we-- It's supposed to loop. But, yeah, we rip on go karts together and that's my why. That's the Grubisa fam. All right. We're going to hear more about all of that. All right. We're going to segue into Bryan. If you look around, everything is inspiration. [Music] As a creative, it's my job to share inspiration as quickly as possible. Adobe Acrobat AI system is super helpful because it allows me to weed through everything that I don't need and get to what is inspiring. That's real dope. My best friends and I own Pirate Worldwide. [Man] We might sample this in a few different goals. We started this brand finding a way to express ourselves through the image that you saw on our chest but it goes way further than fashion. We want to contribute this energy to art, architecture, sports, music.

It's life that we want to contribute to. We're on a mission to discover as many ideas as possible. As an artist, how do you keep up with current times? That's where I think AI Assistant could be helpful. So I use it to get to the main points of a document, provide a list of the five most important points. It generates a response. - Oh, that was quick. - Yeah. Some of these are 90 pages long. It could take hours but AI Assistant condenses all that and gets to the answers that I actually need literally in minutes. What type of sustainable things are Gen-Z looking for? And asking it certain questions and getting feedback and then you have something that you can build on and it come out with completely new ideas.

As we've gone through this creative journey, what it's turned into is what you can bring to contribute to the culture. It's all art. It's all expression. It's all part of humanity. That'll be my fulfillment as an artist, to seeing how far we can take it.

Thank you. Thank you. So as you guys saw, I'm co-founder of Pirate Worldwide. My team is up here as well. We are completely self-taught with everything, an artist, entrepreneur and a visionary, from Los Angeles, California. I think who's familiar with Nipsey Hussle? There we go. Shout out to Nip. The Marathon continues.

When I first listened to this project, it gave me a fire. At the time, I was playing college football at New Mexico State.

And after all that was done, obviously, I had dreams like many college athletes to go pro.

That did happen but not at the scale that I thought it would've. So I ended up playing a year overseas in France. But before that, I teamed up with one of my best friends and we would just hang out every day. And we do our passions, we're music and clothing but we couldn't find a brand that we actually identified with, so we decided to create that. We actually started off by making shirts on Uber prints and eventually, that itch wasn't being scratched. Initially, it was like, "Okay. That's dope." We have t shirts that kind of represent us but it's all clip art and images we could just upload but nothing really that was concrete and meant that was ours. So then we found a way to get our hands on Photoshop and we started making our own t shirts. And then we just carried on this momentum. I ended up playing football in France, like I said. And that is an art show that we threw for one of our drops. It was the castle's drop. So we released product and we released digital product with an album. So I'm also like I said, a music artist. But that right there is pretty much the room that we worked out of day in and day out. We would stay up till 5:00am sometimes. We were literally renting this space from an artist who had an art studio and they had this room for rent. And yeah, we would just lab up there and this was our own world that we had created.

We treat all of our products like art pieces. We want them to tell a story. When you look at them, we want you to be inspired by them, so we present them as such. I have Salvadorian roots, so that's... It's actually a tent that people go ahead and make these beautiful creations with. But all in all, we represent a by any means story. That means if you can't or if you don't have a way to make it happen now, you can always find a way. So go out there. We all have a by any means story. And then our purpose, like I mentioned earlier is to share that story, encourage everyone to chase their dreams and hopefully, we're doing our job in encouraging you guys to do so.

Thank you.

Amazing. I always have so much admiration for those who are very entrepreneurial because I am so not that way. So I admire you guys a lot for that. - Thank you. - Yeah. Yeah. So Chris, you and I met at MAX last year. - So this is a fun story. - Yeah. So Chris and I met at MAX last year and I was working at the Acrobat booth. And I see this guy and he's walking up. - And-- - No idea. Just-- He's slowly walking up to the booth looking at it. I'm like, "Hello? Do you use Acrobat?" He's, like, "Actually, yeah. But I--" so we started talking and I realized he owned a small business and we started nerding out about PDFs for a while. - So-- - Yeah. Chris, why don't you tell everybody a little bit more about how you're using Acrobat for your business in your day to day operations? So we have the two media businesses. So you have Chrilleks, who is the photo video all producing, crazy logistics there and then Let's Cook Editing marries with that, which is all post production editing, right? So basically, what do you want to know? Because it's like onboarding people, onboarding our clients, onboarding team members, employees.

What else was-- Yeah, because there's brands. There's brand decks. Do you want to get into all that? - Because there's-- - We use brand decks. You also use scan all the time and you're-- Personally, yep. Yep. - For-- - E-signing features. - Yeah. - Do you want to know the whole-- I want to know how it has helped you with your business because I know that you have seen so much productivity-- - And efficiency, yeah. - And efficiency because-- Yeah. You're not using multiple apps and we've had that whole conversation. - So why don't you-- - Yeah. Tell everybody a little bit more about some of the outputs you've gotten out of it or-- - Yeah. - Return on your investment? So we're at 93% increase from what we used to do for just even onboarding clients. Let's go with that avenue. And we use it for jeez, so you can see that there's many projects in the kitchen. We have everything from food and cosmetics to every type of brand, lifestyle, clothing, everything, right? So you get these brand decks to make these videos or to produce. - Yeah. - Or contracts or LA film permits-- - Yeah. - Because we're based in LA. I forgot if I mentioned that. But it's just going through that literally the paperwork of just efficiently. Yeah. So onboarding is the easiest way because if we bring on contractors, we sign them off. And it's also following up too, we don't have to-- Once we set the documents, it's not like we have to keep reminding because all of that's in this ecosystem, I guess, yeah. - Yeah. - It's a live document, right? So you can check if they've signed something and then-- Yeah, and then research too, what colors or tones or something, whatever needs to go to that specific brand. That's a big thing that I try to keep queues on, you have an idea but when you have a bunch of things going on at once with life happening, it's overflowing too. And then as I have to mention this because if I forget, the kiddos, they're growing up so I'm not in school yet with them but it's like their schedules are coming in. There's contracts about day cares and all this other stuff that'd be-- my dad's side of things, It's like-- - Yeah. - It just adds up. I think that's one of the cool things too about Acrobat is we don't just use it in our professional life. We're using it in our personal lives too with all of our, you know. - Cancellation policies for-- - Leased agreements. - Yeah. - I know. And you've also kept your team pretty lean because of all of these efficiencies. Yeah. So I think that's another thing that's really cool to note is even just as simple as you don't have to do as much with a bookkeeper because of the efficiencies-- - Yeah. - With integrating with scan. Scan goes directly and you showed me this last year or between last year at one point. Scan, I literally, tonight, if I go have a dinner, scan it from my phone and it goes right to the cloud. If I want to take a step further, I can sort that and I just live by it because you guys know you run all the businesses too where it's like if you're not on queue with your bookkeeping, it just snowballs, right? You got to get it straight from the top and that's the whole thing too. - It's-- - Keeping track of everything? - Yep. And sorted too is-- - Totally. - Yeah. Divided. - Totally. Bryan, what about you? What is your favorite feature in Acrobat? I think it's being able to feed it a document and then asking it to give me so you can prompt it to ask or you can prompt it to give you the five strongest points about the document and then it gives you a citation on it as well. So if you want to actually go and read the answer or whatever, then you can go and refer to it. Also like you mentioned earlier, you could put transcripts on it from a meeting you have. So now, we're having brands reach out to us and we're creative directing their product and stuff. So let's say we hop on Zoom and then it's an hour conversation. Even if I take notes, it's going to be hard for me to actually regurgitate and remember all that stuff. So I can feed it the transcript and then ask it to summarize it for me and put it into a document file where I can follow and actually execute on the vision that this client has. Tell me a little bit more about to how you're using AI Assistant for your research. I know we talked about it a little bit in the video but-- - Yeah. - You're trying to get-- You want to use it more for research purposes and things like that and ideation. Yeah, I think one of my first questions to you was, if you guys were ever going to bring up the limit, the page limit. - The page count, yeah. - The Page count. - Yeah, because you can give it books. - Yeah. And it can list out all the points and that's why students are, whoever has a quiz on these types of things is complete cheat code because they're going to be able to do whatever they want and get the answers they need or they're looking for. So it all comes down to the prompts. If I want to learn something about a particular generation or fashion and architect or something, I can give it that document. It's obviously based off whatever you feed it. So just prompt it with the questions you want to know and it'll give you the answers. You can put it in an email format too like you mentioned earlier. So super convenient.

Chris, what about you? I know you use it for mobile a little bit. The favorite features? That was the-- Yeah. What's your favorite feature? Just throwing everything into one and just finding it. And then the little numbers come up that hover and you can find the source. So it's not like it just tells you. It shows you. It's like, "Oh, page 5, whatever." I'm a camera guy, so it's like left hand frame but-- Yep. It's just quick. We got to move. The branding worlds are so quick with product releases and whatnot.

There's other back-end stuff too, like keeping things secure, like it's a mental weight. Like a load off my mind because of every all the security, it's a brand that we trust. Yeah. That's huge because 99% is a crazy amount of our stuff is all NDA. Unreleased product that we're doing with these athletes, professional public figures and whatnot too. So it's got to be under wraps. It's got to be quick. Got to move with us, the worlds and to end professional too. - It's approachable. - Yeah. And I don't think and the other thing is when we send this out to the medium size or small brains that we grew up with and building with and then these mega great bigger companies, I should say. Everyone knows that Acrobat, across the board. It's so familiar that there's no learning curve and they're like, "Got it, sign it, read it." Yeah. All right, so tell me also what's next for Let's Cook and for Pirate Worldwide? What are your goals? So I want to touch every business I guess in the world. I'm going to start with America but I want to impact and tell more stories and unique and then put out, like I said, content is number one. They said it this morning. It's a need and we believe that the way you have all the ingredients, everyone can film it. It's just that the way you present it and that can change lives. And I just recently lived that the other week where it's like the views that I shared, it's just so impactful and I want to share that with everybody. 100%. Yeah, I think it's to keep spreading that message of making things happen regardless of what your situation is, collaborating more, scaling more, touching as many people as we possibly can, making quality product and doing it in a tasteful way. So with that being said, collaborations are one of the pillars. Yeah. So we actually made this hat in collaboration with Adobe. Yeah, tell me about your hat, Bryan. Yeah, it's inspired by the video you guys saw earlier. So yeah, it's an Adobe and Pirate collab. You guys will all get one. So hopefully, you like it and you give us a follow. If you scan the QR code on the tag, you can actually view the video and, yeah, share it with whoever you feel will like it. - Yeah. - Yeah. So we partnered with Bryan and the Pirate Worldwide team. They created this hat. Tell me a little bit about what we're seeing on the hat, the eye. Yeah. So ultimately, we are the creators. We are the visionaries. So use AI as an assistant. That's really what it is. You have the vision and you can prompt it to do whatever you want it to do. So it's not taking your job and then just done. You give a couple of life. Yeah, the biggest thing is this blending between science and humanity, right? Again, we want to help you be more creative. We don't want to take that away. So using it more for ideation and we're not replacing any of the human touch. So with that, you all get a hat before you leave here. So Bryan and team created these hats for you all. It's an exclusive.
