eSigner is SSL.com’s cloud signing platform for delivering cloud signatures and high-volume automated e-sealing that can be used with any Adobe-trusted signing certificate.
Overview
SSL.com is a certificate authority headquartered in Houston, Texas and has been a trust service provider (TSP) since July 2016. Trust services they provide include signing services, managed PKI, SSL/TLS certificates, code signing certificates, and email, client, and document signing certificates.
Using the Cloud Signature Consortium open standard, SSL.com offers the following signing certificates that work with Adobe Acrobat Sign cloud signatures, which can be shared with multiple signing credentials:
- SSL.com document signing certificates (AATL) – organization validation
- SSL.com document signing certificates (AATL) – individual validation
- SSL.com document signing certificates (AATL) – organization + individual validation
In addition to these SSL.com certificates, SSL.com's eSigner service allows certificates issued by any trust service provider to be imported for use with an SSL.com signing credential, including eIDAS compliant certificates, to work with Acrobat Sign.
