- Select the Remove tool.
Click on the Remove tool in the toolbar. If you don’t see it, select and hold the Spot Healing Brush to reveal more tools, then select the Remove Tool.
- Brush over objects to remove them.
Adjust the size of your brush in the tool options bar, then paint over an object to remove it.
- Automatically remove wires, cables, and people.
Use Distraction Removal to detect and delete unwanted wires, cables, and people. Select the Remove tool, then click on the Find distractions dropdown menu in the tool options bar. Select either the Wires and cables option, or the People option.
Wires and cables will be immediately removed, and you’ll see your results momentarily.
People will be selected automatically, and if you are satisfied with the selection, you can press Return to delete them. If you would like to refine the selection, click the Plus sign in the options tool bar to add to the selection, or the minus sign to detract from it, then use the brush to make adjustments. Once you’ve got your selection just right, press Return to delete the selection.
- Adjust your generative AI mode.
You can choose how and if you use generative AI with the Remove Tool. Click the Mode dropdown menu in the Options tool and select Auto to use generative AI when it will provide the best removal results, Always to use generative AI every time you use the Remove Tool, and Never to ensure that generative AI is never used.
