How to generate AI videos in Firefly.

Easily generate your own AI videos following these quick steps:

  • Open Firefly.
Log in to Firefly, then choose the Text to Video or Image to Video option on the homepage to open the workspace.
  • Write a text prompt or upload an image.
The optimal structure of a text prompt for Text to Video describes the shot type, character, action, location and aesthetic. Be specific to get the best results, up to the maximum limit of 175 words. For example, “a cinematic, medium shot, eye level, of a beautiful fluffy rabbit in a snowy forest at sunrise, dreamy bokeh, lens flares, the colour grade is warm, the rabbit is realistic with soft, detailed fur glistening in the sunlight, camera movement is subtle and soft and in slow motion, shot on film, film grain, snowflakes falling softly in the background, highly detailed.” Adobe’s Help Centre has detailed text prompt writing tips and examples to help you to create the best prompts.

You can also upload an image that you want Firefly to put to motion. In this case, you should also use the text prompt to describe how you want the image brought to life.
  • Generate your video.
When you’re satisfied with your prompt, click Generate. The results will appear shortly. If you like the video Firefly generates, use the Download button in the top right to download as an mp4 file.
  • Refine, revise and regenerate.
Play with settings to explore different variations. In the panel on the left, you can adjust the aspect ratio, camera angle and motion. And if you’d like, add more detail to your text prompt to generate completely new videos. Just make sure that you save any videos you like before you create new ones.

Start using Text to Video.
